Golf for the World is the annual golf tournament benefiting Anchor House, the mission to seafarers and the SeaPort Manatee community. The scramble format and shotgun start make it so anyone can play. So, get some friends and sign up for this wonderful morning of golf, fellowship, and fun for a wonderful cause.
The shotgun start scramble benefits Anchor House at SeaPort Manatee. Anchor House is a non-profit mission to the international seafarers and SeaPort Community. The physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of seafarers from over 40 countries are met at Anchor House. We welcome thousands of seafarers annually to SeaPort Manatee. offering Wi-Fi, advocacy, transportation and friendship. Anchor House serves a place of rest and refuge for the entire SeaPort community.
The Golf for the World tournament will offer Closest to the Pin, Longest Drive, and Longest putt contests. Awards and prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. In addition, door and raffle prizes will be awarded.
After golf, players are invited to join us for lunch and awards.
